If you’re reading this, you’ve probably spent a lot of time looking for the right image resizing website or software. Specifically, one that can help you automate digital image resizing with custom dimensions for width and height, while prioritizing the most important area of that image, and not compromising on the quality.

Congratulations! You’ve finally found what you’re looking for - the best image resizer website out there. With us, you’ll finally have proper resized images quickly, made for every and any platform out there - speeding up your workflow in a very significant way.

Editing & resizing images can be a tedious task
Editing & resizing images can be a tedious task
In a nutshell, this blog is here to explain why we made this image resizing software, our different features and our next steps. We’ll answer:

  • What is the best social image resizer tool?
  • Why are we the best image resize website for bulk image resizing?
  • How can I use this image resizer web to resize images for paid advertising?
  • Can I create custom dimensions for the digital images I want to resize?
  • What are the best resizing features for image optimization?
  • How do we keep image quality when resizing photos?
  • Can I resize images without installing software such as Adobe or Photoshop?
  • Where else can I resize images online for free?

First off, let’s answer who’s the team behind the image resizing software?

We are a team of freelance designers, programmers and marketers. Our day to day revolves around digital tasks, and a lot of these include image editing and resizing.

Why did we create the image resizing software?

Our marketing team’s main issue was being able to resize images with their own custom sizes, while maintaining a clear focus point, or as we like to call it, a “priority area”.

An example of a priority area could be the phone someone is holding on the top right of the image, or a banner that appears in the bottom left of the image.

Resizing such an image (or several at once) automatically, while maintaining said priority area, was just impossible. Our marketing team would need to go image by image in Photoshop, Adobe, Canva or Figma. This was a huge waste of time and a clear bottleneck for our team, so they asked the programmers to build them a site that would allow them to do it quickly and without hassle.

But our programming team quickly found out why this is easier said than done. Image resizing with a priority focus point is no easy feat for any programmer, but our team of rockstars was able to do it (alas, there were ups and downs, roadblocks and frustrations, but we managed to do it!).

What features did we focus on when creating our software?

If you're here, you probably know how important it is to have the same image with different widths and heights, in order to run different advertising campaigns through a variety of platforms such as Meta for Instagram or Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Youtube & Google Display etc…

None of these platforms really have the same advertisement sizes. On top of that,a lot of the photo editor webs out there give you pre-set sizes, but not us. With our software, you can create any width and height, choose a priority area, and have total control over the resizing of the images. Being able to export whatever file size you want was very important, and we listened to our team.

Moreover, most of the other tools out there give you a compressed image, whether it's with a single digital image resize, or with batch image resizing. We were definitely not looking for an image compression tool, since less quality advertisements mean less quality conversions.

We were able to build this software without compromising the image quality - since we know very well that every pixel counts.

You are also able to resize multiple images at once - since bulk image resizing was very important for our marketing team. Another neat feature, you can input a JPEG image, PNG files or WEBP files, and export PNG files or several JPEG images as well - with more formats coming soon.

Another crucial aspect was to have your outputs or exports neatly organized. You’ll see that feature as well - being able to decide your folder name and number, so there’s no hassle or time wasted once you’ve done the actual image resizing itself in our custom software photo editor.

What other image resizing software were we thinking of when building our own?

Our team has experience with all the tools out there. They deeply know any web related to resizing images with any photo size. While also trying to maintain quality, or in other words, without the web churning out a compressed image that just won't do for ads or social media.

All in all, they are fluent with Adobe, Photoshop, Canva and Figma, just to name a few.

They just couldn't find a social image resizer tool that fit their needs, especially batch image resizing. This is what we learned:

  • The problem with Adobe Photoshop specifically: It’s too complex and expensive for this simple task, which isn’t even automated.
  • The problem with Canva specifically: It’s too simple and limited, with no focus at all on this problem, which most beginners (Canva’s main userbase) don’t face.
  • The problem with Figma specifically: Mostly the image compression and quality problem, as well as Figma not being the platform for this type of task at all. You’ll need plugins, and even then it won’t be a good solution.
  • The problem with BIRME specifically: The quality is a clear deal breaker for us. We thought BIRME could be it, as it’s the only one we’ve seen with a priority area feature - but it’s a completely outdated web that kills quality every single time.

What are our plans for the future?

For now, we’ve released this minimum viable product completely for free and with no ads or subscriptions, so go nuts with our unlimited free tier. We want to see if it picks up traction and retention, and if it does, we will need to add advertising and a subscription feature to cover the costs.

We are based in Europe, so we don’t monetize user data or any uploaded image whatsoever. We don’t believe in that. But in case you don’t trust us, which you shouldn't, just know we are compliant with the most rigorous data regulation laws out there: Europe’s GDPR.

We want to build with our community, with transparency and honesty. It sounds like a complete cliché, but it will be the only way for us to be successful. Don’t think for a second we don’t like money - we absolutely love it.

Let us know what we should build next!

But we know that in order to get your money, we need to create value for our community. And not just a bit of value, we need to create more value for you than what you will be paying us. In other words, we need to be the best image resizer tool out there (while competing with giants such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop or Canva!)

For example, if our unlimited subscription ends up being 2.99€/month, you’ll only pay if we provide you with more than 2.99€ of value every month - in time saving. And that’s exactly what we are going for.

For that, we need your help and input.

Please give us feedback and your honest thoughts:

We really started this out because we lived this problem as a real pain. We didn’t chase a problem in order to have a cool project or startup. We listened to honest feedback and critiques from our internal circle, our marketing team, and decided to do something about it.

The deeper we dug, the more we realized this was a real issue. And once we finally had it finished up the first version - our team absolutely loved it. That’s when we started talking about making it public.

We understood a lot more people face this issue from the start. And so, that they would benefit from the solution as well.

This project is completely bootstrapped. No outside funding or investors, just a group of programmers, designers and marketers trying something out.

So please, don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know what your honest thoughts are. Tell us what we could add to make it better - make us understand the image resizing solution you wish you had at your fingertips.
